DUE TO A SCHEDULING CONFLICT BEYOND OUR CONTROL, THE DATE OF RHEA LANA'S SPRING 2010 CONSIGNMENT EVENT HAS BEEN CHANGED TO MARCH 4-6 AT THE JOHN Q HAMMONS CENTER IN ROGERS! (The Private Pre-Sale Event for Volunteers, Consignors, and Moms-To-Be will be Wednesday, March 3.)

2009 was an amazing year for Rhea Lana's Children's Consignment Events. On a corporate level, we added 12 new franchises and expanded into 8 new states. Our RL Facebook Fan Clubs have over 3,000 members, we've started our Company Blog, and we have a great following on Twitter. On a local level, our NWA sale experienced record-breaking growth to 650 Consignors selling 65,000 children's items at our Fall 2009 event. Several NWA News stations even ran feature stories on the ways that Rhea Lana's is serving families throughout our community.

In 2010 we are making several improvements to the sale. All of these are with the intention of giving you an even better consignor and shopping experience:

NEW THIS SALE: We are doubling the number of check-in stations, rolling racks, and volunteers during Consignor Check-In. This should help the drop-off process go much faster for those of you selling items. (I think I can hear the Consignors cheering through my computer!)

NEW THIS SALE: We are adding two more computers so we can have 6 check-out lanes for faster purchasing!

NEW THIS SALE: Due to the growth of our sale and in an effort to continue our standard of high quality items, we are going to limit the number of items for the Spring 2010 sale. WE WILL ACCEPT THE FIRST 50,000 ITEMS--after that, the database system will be closed. Register to be a consignor and begin entering your items early. Each Consignor may bring up to 150 total items. We are also limiting the number of maternity items to 20 per Consignor. So, bring your best! It is our experience that a consignor who brings 75 great items will do better than a consignor who brings 100 items that are poor quality or out-of-date and priced too high.

NEW THIS SALE: Marketing Distribution Day on Sunday, February 7 from 2-6pm at the Har-Ber Meadows Community Clubhouse (6750 Tall Oaks Loop N; Springdale, AR 72762)! Volunteering for Rhea Lana's is a great way to earn the ability to be among the first shoppers!!! One option is volunteering to help market our sale through car magnets, yard signs, or distributing flyers & door hangers. New this sale, you can simply show up on Marketing Distribution Day and we will give marketing materials out on a first come, first served basis. (This will simplify the process and cut down on emails and phone calls.)

CLOTHING HANGERS: Wal-Mart has started carrying 10 children's plastic hangers for $1 again. They have a large selection right now, so it is a great time to buy hangers and string tags. The stores typically run out during the two weeks before the sale.

The website has been updated and we are ready for you to begin entering items to sell. We are currently accepting HIGH QUALITY SPRING and SUMMER children's clothing(ages infant through pre teen), maternity clothing, children's furniture, baby equipment, indoor and outdoor toys for all ages, children's books, DVDs, video games and game systems (Wii, Play Station, XBox, Leapster, etc), puzzles, sporting equipment, and more. You will be amazed at how much money you will make as a consignor at our event!
